This policy covers Tic Tac Tesseract: Campaign. Tic Tac Tesseract and Neon Tic Tac Toe are separate apps that collect far less. They have their own privacy policy.
1. Introduction
Tic Tac Tesseract: Campaign is operated by Dad & Dudes Games, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what the app collects and why.
You can play the entire single-player game without an account. Signing in is optional and only needed for cross-device sync, online multiplayer, and leaderboards.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account and Sign-In (Optional)
If you choose to sign in, we use Firebase Authentication with Google Sign-In. We receive from Google an account identifier, your email address, and your display name. We use them to:
- Recognize you across devices
- Sync your progress
- Identify you to other players in multiplayer games and on leaderboards
Your display name is visible to other players in multiplayer and on leaderboards. Do not use one you would rather keep private.
2.2 Game Data (Firestore)
When signed in, we store in Google Firestore: your game progress and saves, multiplayer game state, leaderboard scores, and any feedback you submit through the in-game form. Multiplayer game records are shared with the other participants in that game, which is what makes the game playable.
2.3 Crash and Error Reports (Sentry)
We use Sentry for crash reporting. On an error it sends the error message and stack trace, your device model and OS version, the app version, and the technical game state at the moment of failure. This is used only to fix bugs. It is never used for analytics, advertising, or marketing.
2.4 On-Device Storage
Settings, preferences, and single-player progress are stored locally on your device. If you never sign in, this data never leaves your device.
2.5 What We Do Not Collect
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no behavioral tracking of how or how long you play. Analytics was removed from this app on August 16, 2026 and none is present.
- No advertising. No ad networks, ad identifiers, or tracking pixels.
- No data sales. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera. The app never requests these permissions.
- No demographic profiling. We never ask for your age, gender, address, or phone number.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Authentication: verifying who you are when you sign in
- Sync: carrying your progress between your devices
- Multiplayer and leaderboards: running shared games and rankings
- Support: responding to feedback you send us
- Stability: diagnosing crashes via Sentry
We do not use your data for marketing or profiling.
4. Third-Party Services
Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore)
Sign-in and stored game data are handled by Google Firebase, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
Sentry
Crash reports go to Sentry, operated by Functional Software, Inc., subject to their Privacy Policy. Reports travel over HTTPS.
5. Data Security
- HTTPS for all transmission between your device and our services
- Firestore security rules restricting each document to the accounts entitled to read it
- No unnecessary retention: we do not keep data longer than the purposes above require
No method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to processing.
You can delete your account from inside the app, which removes your stored game data and your authentication record. Note that completed multiplayer game records are not deleted, because they belong jointly to the other players in those games. Your display name is removed from them where technically possible.

7. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it and the associated data. Users aged 13 to 18 receive the same protections as adults, plus any additional safeguards required by law.
8. Cookies & Tracking
We use no cookies or tracking pixels for analytics or advertising. The app uses only local device storage for your settings and progress, and a session token to keep you signed in. You can clear both at any time.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted, and material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.

11. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, we process personal data on these bases:
- Consent: signing in, which is entirely optional
- Contractual necessity: multiplayer, leaderboards, and cross-device sync, which cannot function without your account data
- Legitimate interests: crash reporting, to keep the app stable
